Best Wedding Venues in Niagara-on-the-Lake

I may be biased since I live here, but Niagara-on-the-Lake must be one of the prettiest places to host a wedding. I am having my own wedding here in town in October and I canโ€™t wait. If you are hoping to create a fairytale wedding and are wondering where to have it, read on.

The three Vintages hotels comes to mind straight away. Those include The Prince of Wales Hotel right in historic Old Town Niagara-on-the-Lake, Queenโ€™s Landing, which is perched atop the hill overlooking the Niagara River and The Pillar and Post with its gorgeous Monet inspired gardens.

Pillar and Post: I am getting married outside (if all goes as planned), in the Rose Garden, which is part of the beautiful, Monet inspired gardens at Pillar and Post. If you have never been to these gardens, you must go! This is such a romantic setting. There are 3 sites in the garden. The Rose Garden, the Gazebo in front of the Barn Reception hall, and in front of the Green Bridge. All three sites are amazing. I just walked past a set up in front of the bridge. The string quartet was playing, the lemonade and water ready for guests, the rose petal cones on the white chairs ready for the arriving guests. No matter which location you choose, your guests are going to be blown away by the natural beauty of this magical place. It is the perfect spot for your photos and any bride and groom having a wedding at any Vintages hotel, may use the gardens for their photos. The barn reception hall in the garden has such a beautiful outdoor backdrop with that charming rustic feel. There are also stone ball rooms and the Library inside the Pillar and Post that make this venue beautiful and unique.

Prince of Wales: This iconic Niagara-on-the-Lake hotel, built in 1864, is the most photographed spot in town. With its horse drawn carriages outside, to the spectacular flowers, to the high end ball rooms, this opulent location is going to impress everyone. It is fit for royalty, so why not get spoiled like the prince and princess that you are. The Victoria and Albert Ballroom is like a scene from Bridgerton, with the ornate floors and Victorian style decor.

Queenโ€™s Landing: Imagine being in a lakeside Georgian mansion. Now imagine that being in the heart of gorgeous Niagara-on-the-Lake. That is the spectacular location of Queenโ€™s Landing. I had dinner at Tiara restaurant last Christmas Eve, the service and food were outstanding, and walking around the hotel, all decked out for a Georgian Christmas, it was breathtaking. I can imagine wedding photos of your entire wedding party on the sweeping steps inside this remarkable hotel. The hotel, with the large columns in the front, make it feel like you have gone back in time to a life that is rich and romantic.

Kurtz Orchard Wedding Venue. Situated on a fish pond, in an orchard, is a secluded and romantic wedding venue that was once an orchard market. Step over the floral covered arched bridge into a secret garden that can take your breath away. Itโ€™s so hidden and surprisingly gorgeous around every corner. It is every bride and groomโ€™s dream location. Have your reception in the old market building with its high wooden beams and rustic charm. From live edge tables, to authentic wooden floors, this is a gem of a location just outside the Old Town on the stunning Niagara Parkway at East-West Line.

Konzelmann Estate Winery. Situated on the shores of Lake Ontario, this beautiful winery makes a gorgeous location for the exchange of your wedding vows. Konzelmann is the only winery in town to be right on the water. They have created a dreamy wedding venue including a lakeside gazebo on one side and the lush vineyard on the other as well as some of the best wines (including my favourite-peace wine). You can choose your own caterer but I suggest going with Niagara-on-the-Lakeโ€™s top restaurant, Treadwell, which is one of Konzelmannโ€™s top catering recommendations. The staff at Konzelmann are amongst my favourite people. They are so welcoming and helpful every time! This location is intimate and gorgeous!

Itโ€™s going to be a tough decision! They are all world class venues! One thing I know for sure, you canโ€™t go wrong with any of these locations for your special day. It is going to be unforgettable!
